Teacher

Once again, like history that repeats itself, January 5th will be the first schooling day for year 2009 and never have I been so excited to go back to school! But, I will be bringing along new roles and responsibility because I'm no longer a student, instead I'm going to be a teacher! ( At SMJK Kwang Hua, FYI ) So, bye bye uniforms, school rules and all those crap.

Anyway, I'll be teaching 3 subjects mainly, Physical Education, Civic Education and - totally never see this coming - Arts and Craft. Gosh, it's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to start my first Arts and Craft lesson! Although I've never been in contact with it since 4 years back but this just makes the subject sounds more thrilling for me! You guys might think I'm not prepared but I've actually prepared a big list on things to draw! Can't wait, can't wait!

So, many of you have asked why didn't I opt for a better subject considering the fact that certain 'unpopular' personnel actually got to teach mathematics instead of me. But the fact is, I'm totally fine with it. Seriously! Come to think of it, it's not really easy teaching a mainstream subject, especially for newbie teachers like me ( Remember the life we gave Pn Prema? ) I guess it's better now for me to teach a less important subject and learn to connect more with the students. (I meant that in a positive way, so don't call me pervert or whatever =.=) Besides, that's really the main purpose I wanted to be a teacher in the first place. And for that particular 'unpopular' person, time will tell if you sink or swim.

Another thing people have been telling me is to not get bullied by the students there. Not to mention the 1001 tales of naughty students in Kwang Hua. Thanks alot everybody for your concern and your advice. I'll take good care of myself and make sure all my body parts are still intact when I step out of the school doors.

It's only 2 days away before I start the new phase of my life and the only thing going through my mind now is what will the students actually call me?

Teacher Phan, Teacher Chow Fu, or maybe.....Teacher Choppy?

This is going to be so much fun!
